A good day at work.

My schedule has been so busy that I have had little time to make jewelry of late. So when I do get the chance I work really hard! My fingers hurt, my neck aches, and I don't want to stop.
Today was one of those days. After coffee, of course, and a wonderful skate ski out in the field, I totally ignored the mess in my cabin, did not put away my laundry or do my dishes, I just sat down and started to make these earrings. I am surprised by how well they turned out.
They are easy to wear and lovely to gaze upon.

Hooray

Little antlers, earrings in sterling silver

While making the earrings I started to craft a new pendant using patterned sterling ring stock that I have had for ... ever! I didn't want to use it for rings, (done before), so I found a new way to use it. I added a 14K gold "nugget" that I made from scrap gold and put it on a brass chain.

Lovely

It has taken me forever to get these finished and photographed!

(I had to find my tools and remember how to photograph sterling silver...)

I think that they look pretty good...

I only make these when I am in Wyoming where I have a workbench.
They take me a while to make, because I don't get enough time at the bench... I should adress that.
They are so pretty and classic, you will wear them often.

This is the largest pair, I will list the medium and the small sizes today.

Yea!

Butterfly garden

New to the shop is this sweet little object.  I just couldn't help myself, it had to be made.

Right in the sweet spot.

These might be my newest favorites. Pink vintage glass beads on oxidized sterling silver. Just so pretty. In my shop soon, swoon.

Blue

New to my shop is this long, linked, necklace of vintage glass beads and oxidized sterling silver.  I love the deep turquoise blue combined with the creamy tan faceted beads.  The little, matte finish, accent beads have a sort of animal print feeling to them so the whole thing feels like a country outing or a day on safari.

I like it worn long with my agate pendant necklace.

this still holds true:

Spring things

There are two color stories going on right now.  The bright reds, corals, blues and greens of resort wear and the cool, sweet colors of spring.  I love them both.  These earrings have that not-yet-warm feeling to them.  They are sultry in every way, and full of hope.

{it's coming}

Because I am leaving for a vacation at the end of the month, I am feeling generous in spirit so I just created a final sale section in my Etsy shop.  It's a place where I will be putting all those pieces that need a home.  Check it out from time to time - there will be some good deals.  The sale section does not include the pieces pictured below... they are either on the way to the shop or already listed.

#1 Beach necklace.... for obvious reasons.  (sailing)
Beach necklace
#2 Layering lesson, the perfect combo of long and short with a great earring accent.
Perfect together
#3 Just a beautiful pair of earrings with divine cultured ocean pearls in the softest grey and micro-faceted quartz beads from my archives of beads that I can not replace.
